The River Club is a private club with membership open to any Martin's Landing resident. Membership is also available to non-residents for a fee.


About Martin's Landing

Martin's Landing is a planned community that consists of 1030 acres on the North shore of the Chattahoochee River located within the city limits of Roswell, Georgia. It consists of 1964 household units within twelve subdivision communities, which include single family dwellings, patio homes, condominiums, town homes and apartments.

Martin's Landing is self-contained with a highly rated elementary school (Esther Jackson), parks, playgrounds, trails, lakes, fishing facilities, docks, boat launching areas, playing-fields, swim and tennis facilities, all linked by greenbelts which run throughout the neighborhood. There is also a fire station located at the edge of Martin's Landings' Holcomb Bridge Road property.

Martin's Landing's lands, greenbelts and amenities are supported and maintained by the Martin's Landing Foundation, a non-profit corporation consisting of all Martin's Landing property owners. As a Planned Unit Development, Martin's Landing exercises control over all site and building development and maintenance for the purpose of Architectural Control.

As a community designed for the preservation of its beauty and special landscape, underground utilities were installed throughout. Additionally, extensive landscaping and the preservation of abundant natural areas were part of the original neighborhood design. To maintain its amenities and greenbelts and employ some private security, Martin's Landing's low per household assessment was provided through its Covenants and Restrictions filed in Fulton County Courthouse as a legal document.

Martin's Landing supports organized full time tennis, soccer and swimming programs. This includes ALTA and US Tennis teams, soccer teams through the YMCA and a swim team.

Located within Martin's Landing is The River Club. This private swim/tennis club which includes a clubhouse and pro shop is located on 8-1/2 acres along the Chattahoochee River, and membership is available to all Martin's Landing residents in addition to the above amenities.

Within a mile of Martin's Landing and accessible via sidewalks are various shopping centers, banks, restaurants, movie theatres, businesses and office parks. The Chattahoochee River's recreational uses include boating, rafting, picnicking, and exceptional trout fishing. Just east of Martin's Landing is the new East Roswell Park facility, which includes ball fields, soccer fields, picnic areas, playground, meeting rooms and gymnasiums.

All property owners in Martin's Landing, who make up the Martin's Landing Foundation, own and control all common area and amenities in Martin's Landing. At left is what each property owner in Martin's Landing is a part owner of (in addition to ones own lot.).
